Lemon Ice

Ingredients

• 1½ cups Sugar
• 4 cups Boiling Water
• 2 teaspoons Grated Lemon Peel
• 1 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
• Mint Sprigs

Method

Dissolve sugar in water; cool.

Stir in juice and peel. Pour mixture into freezer container or ice cream maker. Freeze until firm, stirring frequently.

Serve in hollowed-out shells if desired. Garnish with mint sprigs.

½ c. sugar, ½ c. boiling water, 2 tsp grated orange peel, 3 c. orange juice, ¼ cup fresh lemon juice, mint
