Brownies - Sandy’s Fudge Brownies

Ingredients

• 1 stick butter
• 2 oz (3 squares) baking chocolate
• 1 cup sugar
• ½ tsp vanilla
• dash salt
• 2 beaten eggs
• ½ cup flour
• ½ cup chocolate chips
• 1 cup minature marshmallows
• 1 cup chopped walnuts

Method

In top of double boiler melt: 1 stick butter 3 squares baking chocolate

Add 1 cup sugar and mix well. Add ½ tsp vanilla, dash salt and 2 beaten eggs.

Then add ½ cup flour and mix well. Mix in by hand ½ c chocolate chips, 1 cup miniature marshmallows, and 1 cup chopped walnuts.

Bake at 350 degrees in a well-greased 9x9″ pan for about 30 minutes but check them a little earlier. (Marshmallows will melt in oven, not in pot.)

Cool - do not cut for several hours if you can avoid digging in. DO NOT overcook…the knife will come out wet.
